ABB President Mansur Yavaş published a table comparing the expenditures of events organized during his term with those held during the AK Party's term in Ankara.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced the expenditure report for all events organized by the municipality during his presidency.
In a post on his social media account, Yavaş stated that a total of 30 million 130 thousand dollars was spent for 426 events held between 2019 and 2024.
Yavaş noted that during the period from 2014 to 2019, when the municipality was under the administration of the AK Party, a total of 32 million 933 thousand dollars was spent for 80 events.
In the table shared by Yavaş, it was noted that the dollar exchange rate for previous years was obtained from the official website of the Central Bank, taking into account the start date/contract date of the services rendered.
Moreover, in his post, Yavaş stated, "Let's look at the facts together with the data. Because numbers never lie."
