Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş put an end to the discussions regarding his resignation.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş denied the allegations that he would "resign from the CHP." Yavaş stated, "I want everyone to know that I will not be part of any step that will give breath to the ruling party, which is declining in the polls, or open our party to discussion."

"AS THE CHP FAMILY, WE WILL WORK AS A WHOLE"

Yavaş continued with the following statements in a post made on ABB's social media account: "As the Mayor of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, I am focused on two things: serving Ankara and ensuring that our party, which is the leading party in Turkey under the leadership of our Chairman, comes first in the upcoming general elections."

As the Republican People's Party family, we will work as a whole with our mayors, our members of parliament, and our organization, without giving in to the provocations being attempted, until we change the government and bring about a strengthened parliamentary system."
