Marmaris Municipality sent a technical team to Şahan Gökbakar's illegal villa.

Comedian Şahan Gökbakar bought a villa in Marmaris Delikyol Bay in 2018. Previously, Şahan Gökbakar, who had caused a lot of discussion by pouring sea sand and leaving a vault with a zodiac boat by putting up a sign saying "Private property, no entry", it turned out that the famous comedian's villa was illegal. Marmaris Municipality stated that technical teams went to the villa, which was said to belong to Şahan Gökbakar, for examination, but they could not enter because the garden gate was closed and locked and the surroundings were surrounded by barbed wire.

"NO ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE WAS TAKEN BECAUSE A LAWSUIT WAS FILED"

In the statement, it was stated that letters were received during the previous municipal administration period from the Muğla Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, "4 building registration certificates obtained for the mentioned property have been canceled with the decision of the building registration certificate evaluation committee. However, no administrative action was taken during the previous municipal administration period, citing the lawsuits filed for the cancellation of the building registration certificates."

The statement included the following expressions: "During our current municipal administration period, a letter numbered 10390361 was received, which was entered into our municipality's document registration system at 17:23 on 06.09.2024, from the Muğla Governorship Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. In the mentioned letter, it was stated that lawsuits were filed against the cancellation decisions of the building registration certificates for the relevant property, and that the lawsuits are pending before the relevant courts in Muğla, and that no stay of execution or cancellation of the disputed transaction has been decided in the lawsuit processes, and that the procedures will be carried out by our administration within the framework of the relevant legislation."

"TEAMS WILL GO AGAIN"

In accordance with the letter of the Muğla Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, our municipal technical teams went to the mentioned property urgently for necessary technical examination and determination, based on the administrative procedure within the framework of the relevant legislation, but they could not enter because the garden gate was closed and locked and the property was surrounded by barbed wire, and no administrative action could be taken. However, the mentioned property will be visited again and all legal administrative procedures will be carried out in accordance with the relevant legislation. We would like to state that we approach the issue with sensitivity."
