MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli stated regarding the attacks by Israel and the USA on Iran and Iran's retaliations, "If the mutual airstrikes do not stop, the spark caused by a possible ground operation will lay the stones of World War III one by one." Bahçeli also called on the United Nations to intervene immediately, saying, "If it has a multidimensional impact on Russia, China, and European countries, the gates of hell will be opened before humanity."
The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party, Devlet Bahçeli, made striking evaluations regarding the agenda in his speech at the iftar program organized with the participation of the provincial and district heads of his party.
Bahçeli's statements are as follows:
"WE ARE A SYMBOL OF SACRIFICE THAT SAYS FIRST MY COUNTRY AND MY NATION" "I am very happy to meet you around the humble iftar tables on this blessed evening of Ramadan, in a sacred time of our values. At the beginning of my words, I greet you all with utmost respect and affection, and I say welcome to each of you individually. Today's iftar program, attended by our provincial and district heads in full force, will further accelerate the unification of hearts, the solidarity of ideals, and the strengthening of our brotherhood. Thank God, the organizational structure of the Nationalist Movement Party is as solid as steel. Thank God, the political and ideological understanding of the Nationalist Movement Party is healthy, foresighted, and sensible. The political activities and efforts of our provincial and district organizations in their respective regions are highly commendable. We are a symbol of sacrifice that says first my country and my nation.
"IF WE STAND AS ONE FIST, NO ONE CAN STAND AGAINST US" "We are the committed representatives of the call 'Turkey, with its state and nation, together and above all.' Our minds are always focused on the Turkish nation, and the Republic of Turkey is always in our thoughts. Our minds are brewing with social issues. The three crescents promise peace everywhere in our country. The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance have become the hope not only of Turkey but also of the Turkish world, the Islamic world, and all the oppressed. Our burden may be heavy. Our path may seem long and arduous. However, it should be known by all that with the intelligence, patience, faith, and willpower we possess, we will not bow to any difficulty, any lack, or any tricks. Moreover, you are the living witnesses and guarantors of this. I am proud of all of you as people of the cause who turn limited resources into a rich fighting spirit. Despite facing many problems in the ordinary course of life, I take pride in all of you as people of heart who do not let the dignity and honor of the three crescents fall to the ground. I wholeheartedly congratulate each of you for not tarnishing your rightful cause by pushing away those who resort to every kind of filth and ugliness to obstruct the Nationalist Idealist Movement, saying, 'No, you cannot obstruct this blessed movement, you cannot stop this historical caravan.' If we stand as one fist, no one can stand against us. If we show our stance as a collective mind, a common voice, and a shared conscience, no one can approach us from our right, left, or sides. No matter how widespread and intense those who shoot arrows of discord at the fortresses of our existence may be, as long as we do not disrupt our ranks, they will be of no use, and no one will achieve any results. Organization means; it is the dynamic integrity that is updated every day and adds strength to itself, being the seeing eye, the hearing ear, the speaking tongue, the beating heart, the turning wheel, and the common fate and decision scale. Organization means; it is the vigilant consciousness that carries our messages, aspirations, and ideals to every corner of our homeland, just as countless veins carry blood to keep a body alive. For this reason, the most distinguishing feature of the glorious and honorable 57-year history of the Nationalist Movement Party is undoubtedly its strong organizational structure and the virtues, selflessness, foresight, and unparalleled sacrifices of our esteemed cause and heart people who inspire this structure.
"THE SEARCH FOR PEACEFUL PEOPLE AND PEACEFUL HUMANITY WILL NEVER END" Politics cannot exist without people. Politics cannot be done without people. Indeed, the subject of our politics has always been encompassed by people. We must correctly read the relationships between people, society, and the state. We must accurately interpret the bonds of society and nation based on people and create supportive politics for this. I would like to share this truth with a peaceful heart: what we have been doing for exactly 57 years and what we aim to do is precisely this. When we say a strong head, a full stomach, and a happy tomorrow, the point where our goal intersects is that Turkey will not be a country of full captives and hungry free people; it is human values and trusts. Our search for peaceful people and peaceful humanity will never end. Our goal of a secure society, a prosperous nation, and a strong state will never weaken.
"WE WILL DEFINITELY REACH SUPERPOWER TURKEY" Accordingly, in 2053, on the 600th anniversary of the conquest of Istanbul, we will definitely reach superpower Turkey. The Turkish and Turkey Century will be a century of prosperity and abundance. The Turkish and Turkey Century will be a century of peace and brotherhood. The Turkish and Turkey Century will be the peak century of the great Turkish nation, which breaks its shell, sheds its burdens, breaks its narrow molds, shatters dark campaigns, instills trust in friends and fear in enemies with its velvet glove. We believe, we will succeed. We have shown will, we will definitely arrive. We trust ourselves. We trust our nation. We trust our state.
"EMPHASIS ON NATIONAL UNITY AND BROTHERHOOD" We know, see, and trust that our power and strength are the insurmountable walls of our national unity and brotherhood. We stand against the high currents of separation, discrimination, and division. We shout that no stick can be inserted between the honorable and dignified children of a nation that cries together and laughs together. From Diyarbakır to Trabzon; from Hakkari to Edirne; from Artvin to Mersin; from Şırnak to Izmir, we say we are one, we are alive, we are brothers, we are the only will of the Turkish nation that cannot be subdued. As the great statesman Tonyukuk says; "We were not afraid of many, we did not hesitate because we were few; our enemies were like a fire around us; we were the fire that would burn them all." Our national unity and brotherhood are the only guarantee and source of hope for our future. Neither this guarantee will be lost nor will this source dry up and close.
"MESSAGE OF A TERROR-FREE TURKEY" "Our goal of a terror-free Turkey is a strong move that will turn the tide of time and the era in favor of our nation. This goal is the promise of lasting peace and tranquility. This goal is the lifeblood of our thousand-year brotherhood. This goal is our nation's gaining superiority in initiative with its own determination and will against the swirling and bleeding regional and global maelstrom filled with increasing risks and threats.
"EVEN IF WHAT IS DESTROYED IS KNOWN, WHAT WILL BE PLACED IN ITS PLACE AND WHO WILL PLACE IT IS UNCERTAIN" Pakistan and Afghanistan are at war. Russia and Ukraine are at war. The US-Israel partnership is at war with Iran. Energy balances, trade routes, economic systems, strategic alliances, political and diplomatic networks are at a completely different and dangerous point. With the provocations of Israel, the disregard for diplomatic integrity, and the unilateral suspension of ongoing negotiations, neighboring geographies have fallen under the assault of weapons and conflicts. This chain of wars must be broken, and the language of peace must prevail in our region.

US President Trump faces the risk of paying a multifaceted price for the Iran operation he initiated after Venezuela without obtaining authorization from Congress. Under Article 1, Section 8 of the American Constitution, the authority to declare war, raise and support armies, provide and maintain a navy, finance and regulate military expenditures belongs solely to Congress. Since no such decision has been made by Congress, who or what is the dark upper mind that governs the US? How has the Zionist lobby, moreover the murderous Netanyahu, managed to manipulate the US administration? Is this disgraceful tableau, adorned with contradictions from head to toe, not a disrespect to the American people who have lost their children in an unjust and unlawful war? What will the American people gain from this war? What interest will they have? In a prolonged war, if there are numerous deaths, how will this be managed by whom? How quickly has the nightmare of Vietnam, which lasted for 25 years, been forgotten? It is true that the rules-based international order is under destruction. However, this destruction will not be limited to this; it will blow away many roofs as well.
"AS TURKEY, WE ARE ALWAYS BY THE SIDE OF THE FRIENDLY, BROTHERLY, AND NEIGHBORING PEOPLE OF IRAN" As Turkey, we are always by the side of the friendly, brotherly, and neighboring people of Iran. We defend peace, we defend tranquility, we defend diplomatic negotiations. We find the contacts made by our esteemed President very valuable and timely. We once again condemn the assassinations of Iran's religious leader, his family, and many high-ranking state officials, including the Minister of Defense and the Chief of General Staff. We evaluate these assassinations, prepared through intelligence operations, as fundamentally contrary to ethics, law, and human rights. While these events are happening around us, it is the tremendous will of thousands of years of state and national wisdom for us to reconcile within ourselves, to resolve any grievances if they exist, and to strengthen and reinforce national unity. Those who are disturbed by this or that are all fabricated claims, all outdated rhetoric.
"TURKEY WITHOUT TERRORISM IS THE FLAG OF PEACE OPENING TO THE NEW CENTURY" A Turkey without terrorism is the flag of peace for the Turkish nation opening to the new century. This flag will not fall, Turkey will not be divided, and the climate of majesty and affection of these blessed days will, with God's permission, become rooted and gain a lasting quality. The Nationalist Movement is the one that knows best that the daylight's cowardly nights and a pure and free heart pity the tyrannical bodies. Countries that do not have the seed of mercy sown in their soil have become the tombs and graves of many conquerors. The lack of understanding that opens dark chasms between hearts, rigidity, evil, scarcity of love, and the resulting humanitarian disasters are the very cold winds of deprivation from the essence of mercy. We resist this wind with the warmth of our hearts. We respond to the epidemic of slander with the healing of our faith. We know mercy, we know bravery, we know ideals, and we will certainly know how to hold accountable the malicious intentions. For this country, this homeland, this flag, we have sacrificed thousands of martyrs with crescent-eyed and wolf-eyed faces whom we remember with mercy and respect. We have defeated many pitch-black darknesses that have not seen the dawn. We have learned to roar like a lion that heals its own wounds in years filled with darkness, where the departed do not return, the weepers do not smile, the cries do not cease, and the despair does not end, but the struggle of the faithful never diminishes. We are aware that, as a result of this roar and as a whole, we have no alternative other than peace, tranquility, and brotherhood.
"MHP AND THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE WILL STAND BY TURKEY" The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance will stand by Turkey. The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance will build the Turkish and Turkey Century with faith and wisdom. As Tariq ibn Ziyad, who conquered Andalusia, said, even if we have an enemy like the sea behind us and an enemy like the sea in front of us, we will not turn back; we will not compromise our rightful struggle, to which we have devoted our lives with patience and loyalty. To those fools, parasites, and shameless individuals who think they can occupy us and plot against Turkey, who turn politics into street gossip, who attempt to smear the honor of our cause, and who are waiting for an opportunity to drown the Grey Wolf in a jackal's mouth, I say that if there is even the slightest retreat from us, let the sky enter and the red exit. I challenge all of them at once.
We see those who are circling around us. We are closely following those who spread poison and humiliation. We are waiting for the right time, with the strength of patience, the grace of Allah, and the steadfastness of our nation, to disgrace the politicians who spread discord, the so-called journalists, the social media rats, the dishonorable cowards who have fled the country, the treacherous FETÖ members, the separatist factions, the foreign-linked spies, the rootless, the identity-less, and the enemies of the nation and nationality. It is always possible and to be expected that those whose vision is limited will abandon their paths where their horizons have run out, that those who run fast will pause to catch their breath, and that even the results of different influences may change, transform, tire, and fall into despair and despondency. Therefore, your duty is to walk quickly on the path you know to be right without looking back, without entering the sphere of influence of confusing, mind-bending, and distorted mentalities. I am pleased to express that you are doing this in a dazzling manner.
With the "Good Day Neighbor" visits and the "Your Trouble is Our Trouble" conversation meetings, you have signed impressive works. You continue to do so. Since October 24, 2025, a total of 168,091 programs have been held in our 81 provinces and 963 districts. Congratulations to all of you, may Allah be pleased with all of you, and it is my duty to kiss the pure forehead of each one of you. I gladly share my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our Deputy Chairman in charge of Organizational Affairs, Prof. Dr. Edip Semih Yalçın, who is responsible for the provision and follow-up of the "Good Day Neighbor" visits and "Your Trouble is Our Trouble" conversation meetings, as well as to our members of the Presidential Board, our MYK-MDK members, our members of parliament, our mayors, and every provincial and district chairman who honors this place together with all our comrades.
