Koç Holding subsidiary Tek-Art Marina announced that the sales transactions for Göcek Village Port Marina and Göcek Exclusive Port Marina, which were approved by the Competition Authority last month, have been completed along with the hotels in the area. According to the notification made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), a total payment of 157.7 million dollars was made, with 78.85 million dollars each to Yıldız Holding A.Ş., which has equal partnership with Ülker, and Sağlam İnşaat Taahhüt Ticaret A.Ş.
Tek-Art Marina announced the completion of the acquisition of financial fixed assets, which includes Göcek Village Port Marina and Göcek Exclusive Port Marina.
In a notification made by the company to the Public Disclosure Platform, it was stated that the negotiations conducted following the approval given by the Competition Authority last month have concluded.
PAYMENT SHARED BETWEEN TWO COMPANIES
It was reported that half of the total payment of 157.7 million dollars was transferred to Yıldız Holding, owned by Ülker, while the other half was transferred to Sağlam İnşaat Taahhüt Ticaret A.Ş., which holds an equal partnership position.
HOTELS ALSO TRANSFERRED TO TEK-ART
It was noted that not only two marinas but also the hotels in the region were transferred to Tek-Art Marina. However, it was stated that the use of hotel assets could not be immediately transferred due to the existing lease agreement.
LEASE AGREEMENT TO END IN 2026
Tek-Art Marina announced that the lease agreement with the current operator of the hotels operating in the region will be terminated on October 1, 2026. Thus, the right to use the hotel assets will be transferred to Tek-Art after the specified date.
USAGE RIGHTS CONTINUE UNTIL 2073
It was also stated in the announcement that MCI and RAM companies have the right to use the land areas of Göcek Village Port Marina and Göcek Exclusive Port Marina until December 31, 2033, and the sea areas until April 1, 2073.
