Minister Fidan's message to Israel: Tolerance for the occupation of Syrian territory cannot be allowed.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who made a critical visit to the capital of Syria, Damascus, met with the new administration's leader Ahmed al-Shara. After the meeting, Fidan and Shara made statements at a press conference. Minister Fidan stated that necessary preparations for the reconstruction of Syria should begin as soon as possible, and he also said that Israel, which is expanding its occupation in this country, should respect the territorial integrity of Damascus.

Fidan, regarding Israel's occupation of Syrian territory, stated, "Israel's occupation of Syrian land by taking advantage of the current environment cannot be tolerated at all. The international community must respond concretely to Israel's unlawful actions."
