Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke at a joint press conference following his meeting with the new leader of the administration, Ahmed al-Shara, in the Syrian capital, Damascus. Fidan stated regarding Israel's occupation of Syrian territories, "Israel's seizure of Syrian lands by taking advantage of the current situation cannot be tolerated in any way."

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who made a critical visit to the capital of Syria, Damascus, met with the new administration's leader Ahmed al-Shara. After the meeting, Fidan and Shara made statements at a press conference.
