Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made striking statements during his remarks at the budget discussions in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). Minister Fidan stated that the fight against the PKK/YPG terrorist organization would continue without interruption and reacted strongly to the frequent interruptions from the DEM Party benches. Fidan said, "For you, Syria consists of Kurds, and Kurds consist of the PKK."

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan took the podium during the budget discussions of his ministry in the TBMM. Minister Fidan, who delivered clear messages in the fight against terrorism, was frequently interrupted by the DEM Party benches.

"FOR YOU, SYRIA CONSISTS OF KURDS, AND KURDS CONSIST OF THE PKK"

As the voices rose, Minister Fidan turned to the DEM Party benches and reacted. Fidan said, "For you, Syria consists of Kurds, and Kurds consist of the PKK! There are Arabs in Syria, there are Druze, there are Kurds, there are Alawites, there are Sunnis."
