Minister Güler's call to the world regarding Syria: Do not remain silent on Israel.

Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler took the floor on behalf of the executive during the ongoing budget discussions in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

"IT IS THE CLEAREST REFLECTION OF THE OCCUPIER MENTALITY"

Minister Güler, who reacted strongly to Israel's attempts to invade after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria, stated:

"Israel is creating new instability in the region with its attacks in Syria. These initiatives of Israel are the clearest reflection of the occupier mentality. The international community must support this historic process, where an important window of opportunity has opened in Syria, and should not remain silent against Israel's actions. While preventing the terrorist corridor that is intended to be established in Syria, the key has been locked in northern Iraq, and the camps of the terrorist organization in the region have been destroyed."
