Minister of Interior Ciftci, who walked from the Turkish Grand National Assembly to the Ministry, waited at a red light

Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi walked from the Turkish Grand National Assembly to the Ministry of Interior building following the AK Party Group Meeting. During his walk, Minister Çiftçi waited at a pedestrian crossing on the route at a red light and chatted with citizens.

Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi chose to walk to the ministry building after the group meeting at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Leaving behind his official vehicles with flashing lights and security convoy, Minister Çiftçi waited at a red light with citizens and took photos with them along the way.

Contrary to the usual bureaucratic protocols, striking images were captured amid the intense agenda of capital politics. Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi decided to walk to the ministry building after leaving the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) following the AK Party Group Meeting.

FLASHING LIGHTS OFF, SECURITY LEFT BEHIND

With Minister Çiftçi's decision to walk, the official vehicles, flashing lights, and crowded security convoy that always accompany him remained in the parliament garden. Leaving his security team behind to follow him from a distance, Minister Çiftçi proceeded through the streets of Ankara like an ordinary citizen.

WAITED AT RED LIGHT, CHATTED WITH CITIZENS

Strictly obeying traffic rules along his walking route, the Interior Minister stopped when the red light came on at a pedestrian crossing and waited for the green light together with other citizens.

Residents of Ankara, who suddenly saw the Minister before them, could not hide their surprise. Greeting citizens along the way and asking about their well-being, Minister Çiftçi listened to their requests and took plenty of commemorative photos.
