Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, while attending the TBMM Planning and Budget Commission, was confronted by CHP deputies who displayed food packages, saying, "These are the food packages you haven't distributed in schools." Minister Tekin responded to the CHP deputies by saying, "Let the CHP municipalities bring the money they allocate for concerts," which led to a brief debate.

The discussions on the Ministry of National Education's budget for the year 2025 began in the TBMM Planning and Budget Commission. The commission convened under the chairmanship of AK Party Samsun Deputy Mehmet Muş. The events that took place before the meeting were widely discussed.

CHP deputies showed the food packages they brought before the meeting, stating that the Ministry of National Education could not distribute food packages to students in schools. This led to a debate between AK Party and CHP deputies.
