Minister Tekin strongly responded to the claims of favoritism made by teachers who were eliminated in the interview process.

The Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin, answered questions about the current issues before the AK Party group meeting. Minister Tekin made striking statements regarding the allegations that teachers who were eliminated through interviews were favored.

"FRIENDS, PROVE YOUR ALLEGATIONS"

Minister Tekin said, "The place for these allegations is not to shout there, not to act. Objections are made, and these are evaluated within legal procedures. After they are evaluated, the procedure is clear; legal action is taken. Friends who claim that the scores were changed in the interview should prove their allegations."

In response to the reporter's remark, "They are showing documents, sir," Minister Tekin replied, "What documents are they showing? There is no document showing that the score was changed in the interview. The things they say are just different issues. It is not as you say."

"OUR PROTOCOLS ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE RULE OF LAW"

Minister Tekin reacted to the criticisms of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel regarding the protocol signed between the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning of the Ministry of National Education and the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation. Tekin continued his remarks as follows; "'To lean' is a term he used. I looked up what it means in the Turkish Language Institution's dictionary, and I found it very similar to the political discourse of those who lean towards someone before the local elections, called 'city reconciliation.' Our protocols are made in accordance with the principles of the rule of law.

If there is a violation of the protocol, the protocol is canceled. The mentioned protocol is not for our schools, but it is related to adults in our public education centers. Therefore, my advice to Mr. Özel is to verify the information given to him. He has done the same before; he should confirm with his advisors who provide him with information. They are manipulating themselves incorrectly, and he should free himself from their manipulation. Otherwise, if this continues, he will make many mistakes and errors."
