FAMILIES WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE UP TO 40% DISCOUNT
Uraloğlu said, "According to the Road Transport Regulation, bus companies that carry ticketed passengers on intercity routes can offer discounts of up to 30% on the fare tariffs they report to our ministry. With the new regulation, bus companies will be able to offer discounts of up to 40% on ticket prices for families," he said.
DISCOUNT IS LIMITED TO 4 PEOPLE
Uraloğlu explained the conditions for benefiting from the regulation as follows: "With the new regulation, when at least 2 and at most 4 people wish to travel ticketed on the same bus and route, they will be able to benefit from the discount if they can document that they are a family. To benefit from the discount, it will be sufficient for passengers to have the same surname or to prove that they are a family with a document compliant with the relevant legislation."
DISCOUNTED PRICES WILL COME INTO EFFECT ON MARCH 17
The date when this discount for families will come into effect was also a matter of curiosity. Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that the regulation will not be mandatory for companies. The new regulation will be applicable starting from Monday, March 17.
