While it was claimed that the person in the video was Mustafa Sarıgül, a Member of Parliament from the Republican People's Party (CHP) in Erzincan, the experienced politician did not delay in responding. Sarıgül stated, "The video published about me is a montage, blackmail, and threatening content. We will confront these lowlifes who throw these ugly slanders and threats at us and our family in court."

After the tweets were posted, the "Mustafa Sarıgül" hashtag became a trending topic on X platform, and Sarıgül did not delay in responding to the controversial claim.
