Dr. Zafer Nuhoğlu (81), who was poisoned by carbon monoxide gas due to the dislodging of the boiler flue in Başakşehir, passed away, while his wife Asiye Nuhoğlu (79) and son Mert Nuhoğlu (45) were taken to the hospital. It was learned that the Nuhoğlu family went to the hospital last night due to feeling unwell, suspecting food poisoning, but returned home in the evening of their own accord. This morning, when Zafer Nuhoğlu's secretary could not reach him, she called the neighbors. At the same time, his wife also tried to reach Mert Nuhoğlu and explained the situation to the neighbors. MOTHER AND SON FOUND UNCONSCIOUSUpon this, the neighbors broke down the door and entered the house. Inside, they found the family unconscious. The police and medical teams were notified. The medical teams that arrived at the scene determined that Zafer Nuhoğlu had passed away, while Asiye and Mert Nuhoğlu were unconscious. Asiye and Mert Nuhoğlu were taken to the hospital by ambulances, while Zafer Nuhoğlu's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution after the prosecutor's examination at the scene. In the initial investigation conducted by the police teams, it was noted that the boiler flue in the Nuhoğlu family's house had come loose, and the possibility that the family was poisoned by the leaking carbon monoxide gas was considered. The İGDAŞ teams that arrived at the scene also initiated an investigation regarding the gas leak.
