The Central Bank has issued the E9 Emission Group's 7th series 20 TL banknotes. The difference of the new 20 lira banknotes from other currencies is the signatures of the Central Bank Governor Dr. Fatih Karahan and Deputy Governor Prof. Dr. Hatice Karahan on them.

A striking move has come from the Central Bank. According to the announcement made in the Official Gazette, the Central Bank has issued the E9 Emission Group VII series 20 TL banknotes into circulation.

SIGNATURES ON THE DIFFERENCE

The only difference between the newly issued banknotes and the old 20 lira notes is the signatures on them. The new 20 lira notes feature the signatures of Central Bank President Dr. Fatih Karahan and Vice President Prof. Dr. Hatice Karahan.

BANKNOTES ARE IDENTICAL TO PREVIOUS SERIES

The banknotes issued by the Central Bank are completely identical to the previous series in terms of size, front and back design compositions, as well as general characteristics and appearances, except for the signatures on them.
