The man found dead in a car in Adana was revealed to have died after being beaten by the son of the woman with whom he was having an illicit relationship. The young man, who was arrested along with his uncle, stated, "I told him, 'What are you doing in our house?' Despite my saying 'Get out,' he didn't leave. During the fight, I forcibly took him out. I had no intention to kill."
In the central Çukurova district of Adana, 2 out of 3 suspects detained in connection with a person's death found in a car have been arrested.
FAINTED AND DIED WHILE DRIVING
According to the allegation, 54-year-old İlyas Ünalan fainted while driving and stopped in the middle of the road. Upon citizens' notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that Ünalan had passed away.
IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HE WAS ASSAULTED
Teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Public Order Department found signs of assault on Ünalan's body during their initial examination. Following this, detectives launched an investigation, examining nearby security cameras and determining that Ünalan had left the house of a woman named N.C. (45) shortly before his death.
ASSAULTED IN A FORBIDDEN LOVE FIGHT
The homicide teams discovered that Ünalan and N.C. were having a forbidden relationship. It was learned that Ünalan was caught at home with N.C. by her son Onur C. (27) just minutes before his death, and that both parties assaulted each other during the ensuing fight. After the incident, Ünalan left the house but shortly after, he lost his life in his vehicle. The police detained N.C., her son Onur C., and her nephew G.C. (47) as suspects in the case.
SON AND NEPHEW IN CUSTODY
It was learned that Onur C., who was taken to the police station, said, "I told him, 'What are you doing in our house?' Even though I told him to leave, he didn't. We fought, and I forced him out of the house. I had no intention to kill." After his procedures at the police station, Onur C. and his nephew G.C. were arrested by the court for the crime of "intentional murder." The mother N.C. was released under judicial control conditions.
