The brother, who was taken into custody due to a bite mark on his arm, was brought to Istanbul, and it was determined during the examination at the Forensic Medicine Institute that the bite mark did not belong to Narin.

The investigation into the disappearance of Narin Güran in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district, Diyarbakır, initiated by the Diyarbakır Republic Prosecutor's Office, continues.

E.G., who had a bite mark on his arm, was brought to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute yesterday to determine if the mark belonged to Narin, but it could not be determined.

Şahin stated that the search for Narin Güran is continuing with the meticulous follow-up of the security forces, and emphasized that moderation is necessary for the healthy progress of the investigation and effective interventions.

RTÜK President Şahin stated the following:

"The media sharing unverified information and reporting various allegations regarding an incident involving a child undermines the sensitivity of the issue. We kindly request all our broadcasters to comply with the broadcasting ban imposed for the protection of the family and the effective conduct of the investigations. WHAT HAPPENED?

Following the notification of the family, who could not reach Narin Güran in the Kırsal Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır on August 21st around 15:00, search operations were initiated in the region by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, AFAD, Provincial Police Department, Provincial Health Directorate, Dicle University, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, and district municipalities with the support of fire brigade teams.

Most recently, it was reported that the 18-year-old brother, E.G., was taken into custody as part of the investigation into Narin's disappearance. The bite mark on the brother's arm was examined at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute to determine if it belonged to Narin, but it could not be determined.

SEARCH OPERATIONS CONTINUE

In the investigation where every detail is examined in detail, the residents of Tavşantepe neighborhood are being interviewed one by one.

With the support of volunteers, a total of 1710 personnel have participated in the search operations conducted in the neighborhood and its surroundings.

Gendarmerie and AFAD search and rescue teams, as well as other teams, conducted searches in the vicinity of the neighborhood, cliffs, stream and reed beds, fields, abandoned areas within the neighborhood, empty houses, stables, haystacks, and gardens of houses.

Diving teams affiliated with the Gendarmerie Underwater Search and Rescue (JAK) also conducted searches in a water well about 4 meters deep in the neighborhood.

THE FOUND SLIPPER IN THE STREAM DOES NOT BELONG TO NARIN

The work started in the Eğertutmaz Stream with the support of an excavator yesterday evening, about 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, continued today.

People in the vicinity who noticed a slipper carried away by the current in the stream informed the gendarmerie.

The teams who took out the slipper from the water informed the family. According to the statement of the Güran family, it was determined that the slipper did not belong to Narin.

Meanwhile, diving teams affiliated with JAK are also conducting search operations in the stream.
