Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran has decided to continue with Domenico Tedesco, but it is claimed that the matter will be reassessed at the end of the season based on performance, and the management has already begun searching for a new head coach.

Although the management led by President Sadettin Saran decided to continue with Tedesco after the meetings held, it was claimed that different plans for the new season were on the agenda.

After losing 2-0 to Fatih Karagümrük, which is at the bottom of the Super League, Fenerbahçe's management took action. The management led by Sadettin Saran held a meeting with the board of directors after the match. The next day, a meeting was held with head coach Domenico Tedesco and Devin Özek.

After the meetings, Sadettin Saran announced that they would continue with Tedesco, stating, "The necessary ultimatums have been given." However, according to a report by Milliyet, it was noted that this decision was completely conditional and that the situation would be reassessed based on the performance in the remaining matches of the Super League and the Turkish Cup.

On the other hand, it was stated that Sadettin Saran would not solely tie the new season planning to Tedesco. The report mentioned that Saran has already started searching for a head coach for the 2026-2027 season and that necessary steps could be taken at the end of the season.

In a recent iftar program, Sadettin Saran, while speaking, signaled his candidacy for the presidential election to be held at the end of the season with his words, "We are together until 2027."
