Israeli media reported that Mojtaba Khamenei, who was allegedly injured in the initial attacks on February 28, where his father Ali Khamenei is said to have died, was taken to Russia for treatment.

According to a report by Israel-based i24News, a high-ranking official close to Khamenei made statements to Kuwaiti media. The source claimed that Mojtaba Khamenei was taken to Moscow by a Russian military plane last Thursday and underwent a successful surgery there.
INJURED IN THE FIRST ATTACK
The report stated that the new religious leader of Iran was allegedly injured in the legs during the initial attacks that led to the death of his father, Ali Khamenei. It was noted that the decision to take him to Moscow was made following a phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
