The singer's son, Tuğberk Yağız Gülter, stated that on the day of the incident, while he was sleeping in their house in Istanbul, his sister Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter called him. He reported that his sister cried out, "Mom fell, the ambulances are here, come quickly."
Gülter, who said he watched the camera recordings from his mother's house online on the way, used the following statements:
"After my mom came out of the bathroom, she was playing a lively Roman tune loudly. She said, 'Are we ready? Come on, let's dance.' Then she went out of the frame. A minute later, there was a sound of glass breaking. At that moment, my sister said, 'Oh God,' and then my sister and her friend screamed and ran out of the house. The floors in our house are very slippery. Both my mom and I have slipped and fallen before. The windows are at waist height and can be fully opened. I think my mom may have slipped and fallen while opening the window, possibly under the influence of alcohol. I do not believe my mom committed suicide. She was a loving person."
DAUGHTER'S STATEMENT
Güllü's daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, also stated in her testimony that her mother slipped while dancing to the Roman tune and fell out of the open window.
HER FUNERAL WAS HELD IN ISTANBUL
52-year-old Gül Tut lost her life after falling from the terrace window of her house on the 5th floor in the Harmanlar neighborhood of Çınarcık district in Yalova on September 26. The artist's funeral was held in Istanbul.
