In the murder of Esra Muratoğlu, a mother of three who was drowned in Ankara, her boyfriend Orhan Kırtıl and her mother Çilem Yener were taken into custody. In their statements, they claimed that the young woman had used drugs, that she had gone into a crisis on the morning of the incident, and that she had approached them with a knife, asserting that the incident occurred while they were trying to protect themselves. The suspects in Muratoğlu's murder, her mother and boyfriend, were arrested and sent to prison.
On January 12, in an apartment located in the Mamak district of Ankara, a chilling incident occurred in the home where 28-year-old Esra Muratoğlu, a mother of three, was staying with her mother, Çilem Yener. During a dispute between Muratoğlu, Yener, and the young woman's boyfriend, Orhan Kıtıl, Muratoğlu was strangled to death.
BURIED IN TEARS
Upon receiving a tip-off, the teams that arrived at the address encountered the lifeless body of Esra Muratoğlu. The teams from the Ankara Police Department's Public Order Branch detained Orhan Kırtıl and Çilem Yener.
Esra Muratoğlu, who had three children under state protection, was buried in her hometown of Sumucak village in the Kurşunlu district of Çankırı, amid tears, following the autopsy procedures.

MURDER SUSPECTS ARRESTED
After their procedures, Orhan Kırtıl and Çilem Yener were referred to the courthouse, where they were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
