"New district governors for 4 districts of Istanbul"

The appointments of district governors have come into effect with the publication of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's signature in the Official Gazette. While new district governors were appointed to 121 districts, the changes made in Istanbul drew attention.

NEW DISTRICT GOVERNORS FOR 4 DISTRICTS IN ISTANBUL

Yüksel Çelik was appointed as the District Governor of Ümraniye, Abdullah Atakan Atasoy as the District Governor of Beyoğlu, Naif Yavuz as the District Governor of Sancaktepe, and Recai Karal as the District Governor of Bakırköy. Can Aksoy, the District Governor of Beyoğlu, became the Deputy Governor of Istanbul.

CHANGE IN THE HEAD OF THE POLICE ACADEMY

Mustafa Yıldırım, the Provincial Director of the Ministry of Family and Social Services in Kayseri, was removed from his position. The decision led to changes in many institutions and organizations. Prof. Dr. Murat Balcı was appointed as the Head of the Police Academy, while Durmaz Bayraktar, the 1st Legal Advisor of the Migration Management Directorate at the Ministry of Interior, was dismissed. Selim Terzi was appointed to the vacant position of General Director of Living Heritage and Cultural Activities at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
