In the indictment regarding the stabbing murder of 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi in Kadıköy, new footage has emerged. The footage shows the suspect involved in the incident laughing and taking photos together on the metro.
On January 24, in Kadıköy, an indictment was prepared regarding the two suspects who were determined to be with 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was stabbed to death. The indictment included a photo taken by four suspects on the day of the incident in the metro.
The indictment prepared by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the murder of 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi contained striking details.
THE EVENTS WERE DESCRIBED ONE BY ONE
In the indictment, it was stated that child suspects A.Ö. and M.A.D. came to the Tuesday market with child defendants B.B. and U.B.B., who are being tried in the main case of the Minguzzi murder.
It was narrated in the indictment that the suspects, who were wandering with B.B. and U.B.B. in the market, encountered the victim and his friends, and that the two suspects acted with the intent to commit a crime together with the main perpetrators whose trials are ongoing, encouraging B.B., who physically intervened with Minguzzi, and breaking the victim's resistance.
The indictment stated that while the victim was being stabbed and beaten, the two suspects were also waiting in a position ready to intervene, that B.B. took a knife from the counter while suspect M.A.D. stood next to him and provided cover, and that they fled after the incident.
UP TO 20 YEARS OF IMPRISONMENT SOUGHT
In the indictment, it was recorded that both suspects participated in the crime by strengthening the decision to commit a crime of the other main perpetrators B.B. and U.B., facilitating the execution of the crime before or after it was committed, and assisting in the execution of the act to ensure their safe escape after the crime.
For the detained suspects M.A.D. and A.Ö., a prison sentence of 15 to 20 years was requested for the crime of "aiding in the intentional killing of a child."
NEW IMAGES EMERGED
On the other hand, in the expert report prepared regarding the suspects, it was stated that in the examination of M.A.D.'s phone, photos from the day of the incident were found in the deleted files section. Some of these were understood to be photos taken together by the four suspects in the metro after the incident. In the photos, the suspects are seen posing and smiling.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On January 24, Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi went to the market in the Hasanpaşa neighborhood of Kadıköy to buy skateboarding equipment with his friends, where a dispute occurred between him and B.B. and U.B. As Minguzzi attempted to leave the market, he was stabbed by B.B., while U.B. kicked the fallen Minguzzi.
While Minguzzi was severely injured and taken to the hospital, the two fleeing suspects were arrested and subsequently detained. Minguzzi was admitted to the intensive care unit but passed away on February 9.
As a result of the investigation conducted by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a lawsuit was filed against U.B., who kicked Minguzzi, and B.B., who stabbed him, for "intentional killing of a child," seeking prison sentences of 18 to 24 years.
In the expert report prepared regarding the images sent to the Anadolu 2nd Children's Heavy Criminal Court, there were findings regarding the presence of two other suspects along with B.B. and U.B. before and after Minguzzi was stabbed.
As a result of the efforts of the Public Security Branch teams, the suspects M.A.D. and A.Ö., who are under 18 years old, were captured and detained by the judicial authorities.
