The Ministry of Trade announced that as of January 1, 2025, a requirement for authorization verification will be implemented for rental property listings published on advertising platforms.

In a statement regarding the matter, the Ministry of Commerce said, "With the regulation change made by our Ministry of Commerce on August 31, 2023, identity and authority verification obligations have been imposed on advertisement platforms where property and vehicle listings are published, in order to prevent fake listings, advertisement pollution, speculative price increases, and consumer grievances."
