Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan spoke on the phone with his Norwegian counterpart Eide. Deputy Minister Keçeli, who conveyed the details of the summit, announced that Norway has decided to lift the defense industry restrictions imposed on Turkey in 2019.

The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Öncü Keçeli, announced that Minister Hakan Fidan had a phone conversation with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Espen Barth Eide.

NORWAY TAKES A STEP BACK 5 YEARS LATER

Keçeli stated that the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs informed that they have decided to lift the defense industry restrictions imposed on Turkey in 2019.

"SUCH RESTRICTIONS ARE NOT IN LINE WITH THE SPIRIT OF ALLIANCE"

Spokesperson Keçeli said, "Our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fidan, expressed our satisfaction with this decision and stated that such restrictions are not in line with the spirit of alliance."
