It has been revealed that auto mechanic Ramazan Özkan (40) and his alleged girlfriend Hüsniye Yalçın (48), whose bodies were found in the apartment they rented two days after they were reported missing in the Bor district of Niğde, were victims of murder. It was determined that Özkan and Yalçın, both married, were killed by being struck dozens of times with a hammer, and the woman's husband was taken into custody as a suspect. THEY HAD BRUISES AND WOUNDSRelatives of auto mechanic Ramazan Özkan, who had not been heard from for two days, reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following this, police teams began checking addresses where Özkan might be found. Upon arriving at the address in the Toplu Konut neighborhood, the teams had a locksmith open the door, and they found the bodies of Ramazan Özkan and his alleged girlfriend Hüsniye Yalçın in a pool of blood. The lifeless bodies of Özkan and Yalçın, who also had bruises and wounds, were taken to the morgue for autopsy after the crime scene investigation. HUSBAND TAKEN INTO CUSTODYIt was determined that Özkan was married and a father of 3 children, while Yalçın was also married and a mother of 4 children, and that the apartment where the incident occurred was rented by the couple. It was stated that Yalçın and Özkan, whose hands and feet were bound, were killed by being struck dozens of times with a hammer. WAS IT A FORBIDDEN LOVE MURDER?While Ramazan Özkan's funeral was held in the Bor district, Hüsniye Yalçın's husband was taken into custody as a suspect in connection with the murder.
