Operation against organized crime groups! 51 people detained.

In simultaneous operations conducted across 11 provinces centered on Istanbul, 51 suspects were detained in raids targeting 4 separate organized armed criminal groups, whose leaders are abroad and some of whom have Red Notices issued. While it is stated that the suspects are involved in numerous crimes including robbery, threats, intentional homicide, injury, and property damage, the investigation against them continues.

In simultaneous operations targeting organized armed crime organizations across 11 provinces centered in Istanbul, 51 suspects belonging to 4 separate criminal organizations were detained.

SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION IN 11 PROVINCES

Teams from the Istanbul Police Department Organized Crime Branch, coordinated by the Istanbul and Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, carried out a large-scale operation against organized crime organizations as part of joint efforts with the Intelligence Branch.

In the operation centered in Istanbul, simultaneous raids were conducted at identified addresses in Şanlıurfa, Hatay, Kocaeli, Muş, Van, Elazığ, Adana, İzmir, Antalya, and Bingöl.

4 SEPARATE CRIMINAL ORGANIZATIONS TARGETED

Within the scope of the operation, 4 separate organized armed criminal organizations, whose leaders are abroad and some of whom have red notice arrest warrants, were targeted.

It was determined that the suspects were involved in numerous crimes such as aggravated robbery, threats, intentional homicide, attempted intentional homicide, intentionally endangering public safety, intentional injury, and property damage.

51 SUSPECTS DETAINED

In the operations carried out at the identified addresses, 51 suspects were caught and detained. It was learned that judicial proceedings against the suspects are ongoing.
