In narcotic operations conducted by the Gendarmerie General Command in Adana, Balıkesir, Nevşehir, Çanakkale, and Bursa, 346 suspects were apprehended targeting drug dealers.
346 suspects were caught in operations against drug dealers carried out by the gendarmerie in 5 provinces.
COMMANDOS ALSO SUPPORTED THE OPERATION
The operations were conducted with a total of 635 gendarmerie personnel, including 108 Public Order Teams and 14 Commando Teams, along with 13 specially trained narcotic search dogs, targeting 93 addresses.
CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES WERE EVIDENCED ONE BY ONE
Within the scope of the studies conducted under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and the Gendarmerie General Command's Narcotic Crimes Combat Department; field research, analysis, and surveillance activities were carried out with great diligence. The suspects were monitored through technical and physical surveillance. Criminal activities were evidenced one by one.
A LARGE NUMBER OF DRUGS WERE SEIZED
In the conducted operations; 83,625 drug pills, 11 kg of various drugs, numerous unlicensed handguns, shotguns, drug use paraphernalia, and precision scales were seized.
