Özel's response to Erdoğan about "Kılıçdaroğlu": I will utterly devastate him in a way never seen in history.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his speech at the AK Party Denizli 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress, stated, "They could not digest the fall of the Baath regime, which has ideological ties. We know the grudge of their former chairman. There are different reasons behind his love for the Baath regime and Assad, but we are curious why the new chairman is so disturbed." CHP Chairman Özgür Özel responded to Erdoğan's remarks at the 'Fearless Cities Workshop' organized by his party to determine the roadmap for 2025 in İzmir.

Emphasizing that politicians should not be included in politics based on their beliefs and sects, Özel said, "By reminding Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu of his faith, recalling his sect, establishing a connection with him through Assad, isolating the justifiably anxious Arab Alawites in Syria, and God forbid, targeting them, he is venturing into a very dangerous business, knowing that the sectarian emphasis he established through Assad and Kemal Bey is heard from Syria."

Responding harshly to Erdoğan, Özgür Özel said, "I say this while looking into Erdoğan's eyes: shut up! Do not enter these matters with this insolence, this incompetence, and this unnecessary opportunism without thinking about the consequences. From this point on, I will consider your silence as an apology. If you say another word on this matter, I will humiliate you in a way never seen in history."
