Petrol Ofisi Group has acquired bp's fuel operations in Turkey.

Petrol Ofisi Group announced that it has completed the acquisition process of bp's fuel and terminal operations in Turkey. With the closing of the transaction, bp's shares in BP Turkey Refining Limited and BP Petrolleri A.Ş., as well as its stakes in the ATAŞ, Çekisan, and Ambarlı joint venture terminals, have been transferred to Petrol Ofisi Group.

Petrol Ofisi Group CEO Mehmet Abbasoğlu, expressing his excitement for the new era, stated, "We are very happy to welcome the new century of our Republic with a process that will serve as a reference for the sector and contribute to Turkey's energy transition goals. We are accessing a unique ecosystem that approaches two centuries of total experience. With this awareness and responsibility, we will continue to invest in sustainable development without slowing down."

The share purchase agreement for the sale of bp's fuel operations in Turkey to Petrol Ofisi Group was signed on November 14, 2023, and the approval of the Competition Authority was granted on September 12, 2024.
