The incident occurred around 15:35 in the 5-story building on Bağcılar Street in Mareşal Çakmak Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, parts from the balcony of the apartment on the top floor fell off.
PARTS FELL FROM THE BALCONY
Upon notification from the surrounding residents, emergency health, fire, police, and municipal teams arrived at the scene. Health teams determined that no one was injured in the incident. While teams worked in the apartment where the balcony piece fell off, it was learned that a core sample would be taken from the building.

"IT COULD HAVE HARMED OUR CHILDREN"
Mert Karaca, the owner of the business located on the ground floor of the 5-story building, stated, "The incident occurred around 15:30. It seems we had a guardian angel, thank God no harm came to the citizens here. The balcony wall of the apartment collapsed. We had a vehicle here that was damaged. If it had come just a minute earlier, it could have fallen on the vehicle owner. That worries me the most. But as I said, this is a toy store, and we have citizens with children; they could have been harmed as well. What makes us happy is that no one was hurt."
