Recently, actress Pınar Altuğ attended an event and answered questions from journalists. Altuğ, who said she misses acting in series, gave a noteworthy response to the question, "Would you play a plot twist character?"
Actress and presenter Pınar Altuğ, who brought the character 'Meltem' to life in the series Çocuklar Duymasın, which aired from 2002 to 2019, was spotted at an event of a famous brand. In response to the reporters' question, "Would you play a plot twist character?", Altuğ said, "Of course, it could be. It would be a woman that this type would allow. I have always played good mother roles, but I can't play a village woman. As a plot twist, I could only be a bad woman."
Speaking about returning to the screens, Altuğ added, "Sometimes some things come up, but nothing has come that I would be happy to be a part of."
'THERE CAN BE INCONSISTENCIES'
On the other hand, Pınar Altuğ addressed the differences in pay between female and male actors per episode. Altuğ, who said, "There can be inconsistencies from time to time," continued:
"When we were modeling, female models were earning more than male models. Tamer and I used to look out for each other a lot. Birol (Güven) is a man who behaves correctly. A little bit of the team needs to look out for each other as well. If one wants something and the other gives it, is it our place to say anything? The one who takes and the one who gives are satisfied there... I may like someone's acting, while someone else may not. It's a relative thing."
