"Poisonous words from MHP to Ümit Özdağ"

The process that began with MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call for the terrorist organization PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan to speak in the Parliament and continued with the DEM Party delegation visiting İmralı Island and meeting with Öcalan, led to a confrontation between MHP and the Victory Party. MHP Secretary-General İsmet Büyükataman responded harshly to Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ's statements, "Devlet Bahçeli is committing crimes against the Turkish state and the Turkish nation, trying to make Turkey kneel before a terrorist organization by saying 'Turkey without terrorism'."

Büyükataman stated in a social media post, "The intelligence apparatus Özdağ has attacked our esteemed Chairman with exceeding expressions, saying 'we do not use female-charactered sentences, we speak clearly', revealing the problematic state of his mental condition. Özdağ should know well that no one can make the Turkish state kneel; where our Chairman Devlet Bahçeli is, betrayal and surrender cannot be discussed."

Büyükataman emphasized that in all of Bahçeli's statements, it is clearly stated that the fight against terrorism will continue resolutely and that terrorists will be buried underground if they do not lay down their arms. He said, "Despite this, Özdağ continues to pitifully spread his slanders. The vision of a 'Turkey without terrorism' has thoroughly disturbed the settings of this hopeless case and caused him to lose control. We already knew that he did not have the capacity to comprehend the vision presented by Mr. Devlet Bahçeli. However, it is a matter of curiosity why he is so disturbed by the moves aimed at removing terrorism from the country's agenda and ending it in our region."

Büyükataman concluded his statements by saying, "This person, who distorts even the determination shown by our esteemed Chairman in the fight against terrorism and attacks with a low-quality style, must first explain why he supported the same candidate as the terrorists in Kandil during the presidential election process by turning back in two weeks. The secret protocols he signed with Kandil's candidate have shown our esteemed nation how far this person is from a straight line. Today, the zigzags drawn by this person, who boasts of 'speaking straight', clearly reveal how he has changed shapes in the hands of imperialism and how he has knelt before the bosses of the terrorist organization."
