Beşiktaş presidential candidate Serdal Adalı criticized the current president, Hüseyin Yücel, who is his rival ahead of the elections to be held at the end of December. Adalı stated that he no longer takes Yücel seriously and does not want to work with him, saying, "When he said, 'I will hold those who made this team accountable,' for a moment I thought he was saying that I built this team. Mr. Hüseyin is almost going to say, 'I will hold Serdal Adalı accountable.'"
Beşiktaş Presidential Candidate Serdal Adalı made striking statements ahead of the elections at the end of December. Adalı made remarks about the current president of the black-and-white team and his rival in the election, Hüseyin Yücel, that will be widely discussed.

If there are 7 different football minds in a club, this is the result that will emerge. I haven't seen anything like this in the last 20-25 years. The coach changes every two months. There are discussions starting with certain statements, and a commission that should never be associated with Beşiktaş, talking about fake documents. We have gone through very bad days, but there are serious problems in the spiritual aspect. Beşiktaş can lose money, but it cannot lose its reputation. I ran for candidacy out of fear that I would find a much worse Beşiktaş when I wait for May. We have identified how we will get out of this situation. Hopefully, the general assembly will show favor in the election, and we will open a clean page as of the new year.
