President Erdoğan, who attended the AK Party Group Meeting wearing a star and crescent scarf, began his speech by celebrating the success of the Turkish National Football Team participating in the World Cup. Erdoğan stated, "I sincerely congratulate 'Our Children.' As always, I believe they will carry the jersey from victory to victory."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements at the AK Party Group Meeting.
In his speech, Erdoğan praised the success of our National Football Team, which qualified for the World Cup after 24 years, saying, "I wholeheartedly congratulate 'Our Children' who qualified for the World Cup by defeating Kosovo. I wish our team success in their upcoming matches. I firmly believe that 'Our Children' will carry the jersey from victory to victory, as always, and will make our nation proud."
Highlights from President Erdoğan's speech are as follows:
"We will consider 86 million of us as brothers and partners in destiny, and we will never allow our brotherhood to be damaged. I wish the Ramadan Feast to be blessed and holy for humanity once again.

"WE ARE STRUGGLING TO MAKE TURKEY A GLOBAL PLAYER"
We have protected ourselves against the aggressive systems that target us and our party, often exceeding the limits of political courtesy, from the main opposition. Sometimes we attributed these to the inexperience of the party leader. Sometimes we acted with the hope that they would find the right path. We did not respond to their provocations. While we were surrounded by a ring of fire, with missiles flying across our borders, we stayed away from any political discussions that would distract us. Let everyone know this; our stance is not to tolerate the indecencies that have been committed, but rather it is our decorum. We have been striving to build on the foundations for 23 years. We are in the struggle to make Turkey a global player. We are concerned with stopping the flowing blood and extending a helping hand to the oppressed and victims in their difficult days.
We are progressing towards our goal of the Century of Turkey without getting caught up in the virtual agendas stirred up by the opposition.
"WE WILL BRING 5G TECHNOLOGY TO EVERY CORNER OF OUR COUNTRY"
A new era began yesterday in the field of communication and news. Turkey has now met 5G technology. We experienced the joy of bringing 5G technology, which will increase our country's competitiveness and enhance efficiency in communication and technology, to our country. The 5G technology, which is 10 times faster than 4.5G technology, will gradually spread in Turkey. We will bring this technology to every corner of our country. We will deliver it to every point of our country within 2 years.
As the AK Party and the People's Alliance, we have great responsibilities. We have a duty to protect our country from the fire in the region. We have a heavy responsibility to ensure the peace of our nation and to enable it to look to the future with confidence. We will not allow anyone to come between us and our goals.
"WE WILL NOT ALLOW THE LANGUAGE OF FIGHT TO POISON POLITICS"
We must all be aware that the Turkish nation is a nation of wisdom. You cannot deceive this nation; you cannot perform political tricks on this nation. This esteemed nation knows very well how to distinguish the straight from the crooked, the sincere from the fraud, and the moral from the immoral. Our nation knows very well the quality difference between the AK Party and the People's Alliance and the main opposition CHP. My citizens see very well the aggressive rhetoric of the main opposition, which does not even take a break during Ramadan, and they give the deserved score. They turn every opportunity they get into a symphony of insults against us and our party, which only diminishes themselves, not us. We have never been a tool in this game. We will not allow the politics of anger, hatred, and the language of fight to poison politics.
It is neither the right nor the limit of anyone, including the main opposition, to insult the President of this country and the ruling party with ugly expressions. The CHP has written the book of coup and junta in this country.
"THE COUP MENTALITY OF CHP DOES NOT CHANGE"
Open and look at Turkish political history, you will see the CHP walking hand in hand with the coup plotters. You will see the CHP, the main actor of May 27. The ideology of the CHP is the source of inspiration for the coup plotters of September 12. Since November 3, 2002, the CHP has been involved in all provocations targeting Turkey. The CHP was present before the April 27 declaration. It is the CHP that patted the backs of those in the streets during the Gezi events. It is again the CHP that tried to whitewash the coup plotters by calling the betrayal of July 15 a controlled coup. Coup-making is the character and identity of the CHP. Supporting coups is the national sport of the CHP. The CHP is the embodiment of coup-making in this country. Just as a tin cannot be turned into gold by painting it yellow, the coup mentality of the CHP does not change."
