President Erdogan signed! Appointments of rectors were made to 11 universities, and senior bureaucrats were dismissed.

Some appointment and dismissal decisions regarding ministries and public institutions were published in the Official Gazette. According to the decrees published with the signature of President Erdogan, new rectors were appointed to 11 universities, including Hacettepe University, Selcuk University, Anadolu University, Dokuz Eylul University, Istanbul Nisantasi University, and Ozyegin University.

Many high-level bureaucrats were dismissed, including those from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Family and Social Services, and Ministry of Culture and Tourism. With the decree, Fatih Yildiz became Turkey's new Ambassador to Sudan.

HIGH-LEVEL BUREAUCRATS DISMISSED

Muhammet Mermer, the Director of the Ministry of Family and Social Services in Canakkale, and Hasan Tahsin Yildirim, the Director of the Ministry in Cankiri, were dismissed, and new directors were appointed to 21 provinces. Mehmet Akif Akcali and Hasan Korkmaz were appointed as labor inspectors in the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and Bugra Yildirim was assigned as a member of the board of directors of the Turkish Employment Agency.

Seyit Ahmet Arslan, the Deputy General Director of Cultural Assets and Museums, Cengiz Aydin, the Deputy General Director of Promotion, and Erdal Aydin, the Deputy General Director of Personnel, were dismissed from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Abdi Dolek was appointed as the Director of the Tokat Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism. 16 appointments were made to various positions within the Ministry.

APPOINTMENTS TO SOME SENIOR POSITIONS IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

Ahmet Ozdemir, the Director of the Provincial Directorate of National Education in Tokat, and Erhan Bulut, the Director of the Provincial Directorate in Ardahan, were dismissed, and Huseyin Kir was appointed to Tokat and Yusuf Uzanti was appointed to Ardahan as the new Directors of Provincial Directorate of National Education. Changes were also made to the positions of some senior executives in the Ministry of Health by Erdogan. According to this, Deputy Minister Tolga Tolunay, General Director of Health Information Systems Shali Yildirim, General Director of Legal Services Ilhan Hatiboglu, General Director of Administrative Services Celal Sahin, Inspection Board President Davut Eker, and Deputy General Director of Health Investments Dursun Uyar were dismissed. Erdogan appointed Halim Ozcevik as the Deputy Minister of Health. In addition, Hasan Basri Velioğlu was appointed as the General Director of Health Services, Mustafa Mahir Ülgü as the General Director of Health Information Systems, Ülker Kuğu as the General Director of Legal Services, İsmail Öztürk as the General Director of Administrative Services, and Erkan Hacıhafızoğlu as the President of the Inspection Board.

RECTOR CHANGES IN 11 UNIVERSITIES

President Erdogan appointed Prof. Dr. Metin Topcuoglu as a member of the Higher Education Council (YÖK), selected by the Interuniversity Council. In addition, Prof. Dr. Fuat Erdal was appointed as the Rector of Anadolu University, Prof. Dr. Erdal Celik as the Rector of Bingol University, Prof. Dr. Bayram Yilmaz as the Rector of Dokuz Eylul University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Guran as the Rector of Hacettepe University, Prof. Dr. Semih Aytekin as the Rector of Nevsehir Haci Bektas Veli University, Prof. Dr. Huseyin Yilmaz as the Rector of Selcuk University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Necmettin Atsu as the Rector of Istanbul Kent University, Prof. Dr. Aysegul Komsuoglu Citipitioglu as the Rector of Istanbul Nisantasi University, Prof. Dr. Emin Karip as the Rector of Mudanya University, Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Yulek as the Rector of Ostim Technical University, and Prof. Dr. Baris Tan as the Rector of Ozyegin University.
