The government, which is rolling up its sleeves with the aim of making citizens living on minimum wage and the lowest pension owners of homes, plans to implement social housing projects.

STATEMENTS CAME IN QUICK SUCCESSION

Following the low-interest housing loan that will make low-income citizens homeowners, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek made consecutive statements. Minister Şimşek stated regarding the issue, "We will facilitate home purchases with budget support and suitable financing options. Financial conditions will become much more favorable in line with the needs of our citizens," he said. Cevdet Yılmaz, in his statement, said, "We will implement social housing programs that provide financial support to young couples to encourage family formation, marriage counseling, and prioritize those who buy their first home."

OPPORTUNISTS HAVE SPRUNG INTO ACTION

After the series of statements, a noteworthy situation occurred. Opportunists did not remain idle upon seeing the news that a new loan campaign would start with a 10% down payment and a repayment option of up to 240 months for first-time homebuyers. It was observed that the prices of some houses began to rise suddenly on advertisement pages. In fact, even on the day the first signals of the campaign were received, the price of a house increased by 500,000 TL.
