Prince Andrew, known for his association with the pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, has lost his remaining royal titles amid years of controversy. King Charles III of England has officially ordered the revocation of Andrew's membership in the Order of the Garter, which was granted to him in 2006.

A new chapter has opened in the Epstein crisis that has shaken the British Royal Family for years. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, known as Prince Andrew, has been stripped of his remaining honorary titles due to his controversial relationships. Following the orders of King Charles III, the Order of the Garter and the Royal Victorian Order have been revoked, and Andrew's name has been completely removed from official records.

NAME REMOVED

In a statement published in The Gazette, the official publication of the United Kingdom, it was announced that not only has Andrew's Order of the Garter been revoked, but also the title of Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. According to records, his name will be removed from the official registers of both orders.

ADMIRAL RANK ALSO IN DANGER

The 65-year-old former prince had both the titles of "His Majesty" and "Prince" taken from him last month. Although Andrew technically still holds the rank of rear admiral in the Royal Navy, Defense Minister John Healey stated that this status is also being discussed with Buckingham Palace.

MOVING IN THE NEW YEAR

Amid increasing public pressure due to his connection to Epstein, Andrew had effectively stepped back from his royal duties, and it was announced that he would leave the Royal Lodge in Windsor after losing all his titles. Palace sources reported that Andrew will move to Sandringham in Norfolk in the new year.

The official statement included the following orders from the King:

"The cancellation and removal from the register of the appointment of Andrew Albert Christian Edward Mountbatten-Windsor as a Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter dated April 23, 2006..."

"The cancellation and removal from the register of the appointment of Andrew Albert Christian Edward Mountbatten-Windsor as a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order dated February 19, 2011..."

Following these decisions, Andrew's coat of arms was also removed from St. George's Chapel in Windsor.

DENIES ALLEGATIONS

Andrew continues to deny the sexual assault allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, who claims she was trafficked by Epstein. However, the publication of Giuffre's memoir following her death and the U.S. disclosure of Epstein's estate documents have led to Andrew resurfacing in the news in recent weeks.

The Order of the Garter is known as the oldest and most prestigious chivalric order in England, while the Royal Victorian Order is considered a special honor given at the personal discretion of the sovereign.
