A group of protesters, including Venezuelans, held a protest in front of the Southern District Federal Court located in Manhattan, New York, demanding the release of Maduro and his wife.

The protesters carried banners reading "USA, withdraw from Latin America and the Caribbean," "Free Maduro," and "Trump must go." As the protest began, security measures around the courthouse were also increased.
Due to the hearing, the New York Police Department (NYPD) implemented strict security measures from the morning hours, and additional precautions were taken in the area as the number of protesters increased. Barriers around the courthouse were expanded, and numerous police teams were deployed to the area. NYPD officials stated that security measures would continue throughout the hearing to ensure the protest remains peaceful.
