Qatar's Deputy Foreign Minister and Prime Minister's Advisor, Majid Al-Ansari, denied that his country participated in the US-Israeli attacks on Iran.
Qatar's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson and Prime Minister's Advisor, Majid Al-Ansari, refuted the claims made by Israeli media that Qatar participated in attacks on Iran with a message shared on the social media platform of American company X.
DID THEY PARTICIPATE IN ATTACKS ON IRAN?
Al-Ansari stated, "Qatar has not been part of the campaign targeting Iran. We are trying to deter Iran's attacks on our country by exercising our right to self-defense."
The Qatari official called on international media organizations to use the country's reliable sources for news related to Qatar.
In response to the US-Israeli attacks, Iran regularly conducts attacks on US bases and targets in countries such as Israel, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Jordan.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that they are not at war with regional countries and that these countries should pressure the US regarding attacks on Iranian territory, adding that American bases and soldiers in the region are legitimate targets for them.
Israeli media outlets Channel 12 and Jerusalem Post had published reports claiming that Qatar participated in attacks on Iran.
