ENTHUSIASTIC CELEBRATION IN BEŞIKTAŞ



Beşiktaş Municipality organized a parade and concert on the occasion of the 29th of October Republic Day. The march was attended by Beşiktaş Deputy Mayor Ömer Rasim Şişman, council members, and hundreds of citizens. The crowd gathered in front of Dolmabahçe Palace and marched to Beşiktaş Barbaros Square with Turkish flags in hand. The show continued with a DJ performance on the giant stage set up in the square. The crowd celebrated the 102nd year of the Republic with marches, songs, and enthusiasm. The event concluded with a fireworks display.

HIGH-LEVEL NAMES ATTENDED



As part of the events marking the 102nd anniversary of the 29th of October Republic Day, an official ceremony was also held on Fatih Vatan Avenue. The ceremony, which started at 10:30, was attended by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, 1st Army Commander and Istanbul Garrison Commander General Bahtiyar Ersay, Istanbul Police Chief Selami Yıldız, Istanbul Gendarmerie Commander Lieutenant General Yusuf Kenan Topcu, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Nuri Arslan, and heads and directors of public institutions. At the beginning of the ceremony, Davut Gül, Deputy Mayor Nuri Arslan, General Bahtiyar Ersay greeted the public by riding in a military vehicle. The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, during which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's message for the 29th of October Republic Day was read. Additionally, extensive security measures were taken around Vatan Avenue and its surroundings due to the ceremony.
