After the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, former AK Party Member of Parliament Hüseyin Kocabıyık, who criticized President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was referred to the Central Disciplinary Board with a request for his expulsion.

Hüseyin Kocabıyık, who served as a Member of Parliament for İzmir in the 25th and 26th terms of the AK Party, has been referred to the Central Disciplinary Board with a request for precautionary expulsion.

HE HAD CRITICIZED PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN

Kocabıyık had criticized President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan due to the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in connection with 'corruption' and 'terror' investigations.
