Fenerbahçe Club has requested the Turkish Football Federation for all remaining matches of the 2024-2025 season to be officiated by foreign referees.

The Fenerbahçe Club announced that it has requested all remaining matches in the Trendyol Super League to be officiated by foreign referees and that it welcomes the requests of its opponents for foreign referees.

"THE POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE FOREIGN REFEREE COMMITTEE HAVE BEEN OBSERVED"

In a statement made by the yellow-navy blue club, it was noted that the positive contributions of the foreign referee committee that officiated the derby against Galatasaray have been recognized by the majority of the sports public regarding Turkish football.

The statement included the following expressions: "Both before and after the match, the performance of the referee committee, which was requested by some Super League clubs for their own matches, is an indication of the validity of our previous requests. Therefore, we officially communicated our request to the Turkish Football Federation on February 25, 2025, for all remaining matches in the 2024-2025 season to be officiated by foreign referees. In this context, we would like to inform the public that we welcome the request of our opponents for their matches against us to be officiated by foreign referees."
