The General Directorate of Stamp Printing stated that there is no change in the production of 22 carat Republic gold coins (quarter, half, full, etc.) currently being produced by the Mint, regarding the allegations of "halt in the production of quarter and gram gold". They also stated that printed gold coins known as gram gold in the market will continue to be produced by refineries authorized by the Ministry, with a minimum of 1 gram and a maximum of 100 grams, in 24 carat.
The General Directorate of Mint and Stamp Printing, affiliated with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, responded to allegations that the production of quarter and gram gold has been halted.
In a written statement issued by the Mint, the following statements were made: "Some news websites have shared false news containing the phrase 'halt in the production of quarter and gram gold'. There is no halt in the production of Republic gold coins and gram gold.
"GRAM GOLD WILL CONTINUE TO BE PRODUCED BY REFINERIES AUTHORIZED BY THE MINISTRY"
There is no change in the production of 22-carat Republic gold coins (quarter, half, full, etc.) being produced by the Mint. Printed gold known as gram gold in the market will continue to be produced by refineries authorized by the Ministry, with a minimum of 1 gram and a maximum of 100 grams, as 24-carat. In this context, no unverified news with manipulative content should be trusted."
