Response to Yapıcıoğlu, who says "We are against the 4th article of the Constitution" from MHP.

The statement of Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the leader of HÜDA Par, a member of the People's Alliance, advocating the removal of Article 4 of the Constitution, has caused a sensation. Following this development, a remarkable evaluation came from the MHP side.

"THE DISCUSSIONS ARE EMPTY AND FUTILE"

Ismail Özdemir, Deputy Chairman of the MHP, stated in his statement on the subject, "It is clear that our country needs a new constitution that is civil, inclusive, compatible with the Presidential Government System, and meets the needs of our esteemed nation and 21st century ideals, instead of the 1982 constitution, which is a remnant of the coup period and has turned into a patched bundle, so to speak. In this regard, the discussions initiated regarding the first 4 articles of the constitution are empty and futile. MHP's stance, will and determination on this issue are clear, explicit, and resolute."

RESPONSE TO CHP LEADER ÖZEL

In response to the statements of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, Özdemir said, "Nevertheless, it is tragicomic that CHP, which has colluded with FETÖ, which attempted to overthrow the constitutional order, engaged in ethnic-based separatist activities to divide Turkey, and established partnership and bargaining tables with terrorist organizations and their political extensions, even claiming that they will change the first four articles of the constitution on a television channel affiliated with PKK, and the unprincipled and inconsistent left-wing media that supports them, are trying to open MHP up for discussion."

Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the leader of HÜDA PAR, expressed their desire to remove the 4th article of the Constitution during a television program and made the following evaluation: "I explained it one by one as if I was explaining it to a fool, but they insist on not understanding. The presence of unchangeable articles in the constitution does not mean that we want to change all the articles that you call unchangeable. We are against the 4th article of the constitution.
