In Antalya, as a result of an armed attack by a group on a person with whom he had a feud, pellets from a shotgun hit children aged 6 and 12 who were playing in a children's park. The injured children were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred around 4:00 PM in a children's park located on 1070 Street in the Yenigün neighborhood of the Muratpaşa district. According to reports, while Yiğit A. (18) was sitting on a bench after bringing his nieces to the park to play, he was shot at with a shotgun and a pistol by the family of his wife, with whom he had been feuding for some time due to family reasons. While the individuals, whose names are unknown, quickly fled the scene in their vehicle, Ecrin A. (6) and Berat A. (12), who were playing in the park, became the targets of the pellets.

TWO SIBLINGS INJURED WHILE PLAYING

The two siblings, who were lightly injured by the pellets from the shotgun, were taken to the hospital by an ambulance that arrived after nearby citizens reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center. A large number of police teams were dispatched to the scene following the report. While the Homicide Bureau of the Public Order Branch and Crime Scene Investigation teams conducted an investigation in the children's park, the surrounding security cameras were also reviewed. Police teams are continuing their efforts to capture the suspect or suspects.

Mustafa Şengül, a citizen living across from the park where the incident occurred, stated that he heard gunshots while sitting at home, saying, "At first, I heard 2-3 shots from a shotgun. Then, the other side, sitting in the park, fired 3-4 shots with a gun. A girl was shot in the incident, and they took her directly to the hospital. Her mother was crying out loudly. The other side escaped in a Peugeot vehicle."
