Russia has announced the NATO base it would target in the event of a possible situation.

The Russia-Ukraine war, which has been ongoing for about 3 years, gained a new dimension after Ukraine attacked Russia with missiles from the USA and the UK.

While Russia responds to the attacks by firing intercontinental ballistic missiles, tensions in the region are increasing by the minute. Along with the tension, retaliatory statements are following one another.

RUSSIA'S TARGETS INCLUDE A BASE IN POLAND

Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, drew attention to the construction projects carried out by NATO and the USA that have ignored Russia's security concerns for nearly 10 years during a press conference.

Noting that Russia has developed countermeasures during this process, Zakharova stated, "Considering the threats posed by such Western military facilities, the missile defense base in Poland has been included among the priority targets that can be neutralized with modern weapons if necessary."

Zakharova described the establishment of the base as a "provocative and destabilizing step aimed at bringing NATO's military infrastructure even closer to Russia's borders." She emphasized that this move undermines strategic stability and increases nuclear risks.
