In the first match of the UEFA Conference League Round of 16 playoff, Samsunspor faced North Macedonia's KF Shkendija away from home. The match played at Tose Proeski Arena ended with a 1-0 victory for Samsunspor.
WE COULDN'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PENALTY KICK
Our representative Samsunspor started the match with pressure and won a penalty in the 5th minute. Assoumou, who took the ball for the red-and-whites, was brought down by Fetai as he entered the penalty area with dribbles, and referee Rohit Saggi pointed to the penalty spot. Ndiaye, who took the penalty, sent the ball over the goal with a poor shot.
SAMSUNSPOR FOUND THE GOAL IT WAS LOOKING FOR IN THE FINAL STAGES
Samsunspor found the goal it was looking for in the 77th minute with Marius Mouandilmadji.
