The statements of actor İsmail Hacıoğlu, who was detained as part of a 'drug' investigation targeting celebrities and released after his proceedings at the prosecutor's office, singer Murat Dalkılıç, Duman group's lead singer Kaan Tangöze, and former Survivor contestant Adem Kılıççı have emerged. Hacıoğlu, Tangöze, and Kılıççı admitted to using drugs, while Dalkılıç categorically denied the allegations.
As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities, a detention order was issued for 25 individuals on charges of 'purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use', 'promoting and facilitating prostitution', and 'facilitating the use of drugs or stimulants'.
5 SUSPECTS ARRESTED, 12 SUSPECTS RELEASED
In the operation, 21 people were detained, including Kaan Tangöze, Murat Dalkılıç, İsmail Hacıoğlu, Adem Kılıçcı, Murat Cevahiroğlu, Barış Talay, Hakan Kakız, Kemal Doğulu, Murat Öztürk, Alihan Taşkın, Tolga Sezgin, Ramazan Bayar, Aygün Aydın, and Buse Görkem Narcı.
After completing their procedures at the police station, the suspects were brought to the Istanbul Courthouse after undergoing a health check. Of the suspects referred to the Peace Criminal Court, 5 were arrested by the court and sent to prison. Meanwhile, judicial control measures were applied to 12 individuals.

HACIOĞLU: I WAS ORDERING FROM NUMBERS I OBTAINED FROM DRUG SALES GROUPS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
In his statement to the prosecutor, Hacıoğlu said: "During a time I was in the Netherlands, I used a drug called marijuana out of curiosity. This was the first time I experienced this substance. There were periods when I used this substance from time to time. I was ordering the substance from numbers I obtained from drug sales groups on social media. I never saw these people face to face. They usually leave the substance in the mailbox at my residence and take the cash I had previously left there. Since I am a publicly known person, I was careful about this and never made face-to-face drug transactions with anyone. I regret using the substance.
"I HAD TURNED TO THIS SUBSTANCE TO RELAX"
Due to the stressful periods I go through because of my acting profession, I had turned to this substance to relax. I have not used any other drugs besides marijuana. I have not been in any environment where drugs are used. I have not supplied drugs to anyone. I accept the accusation against me in this way. Before I was detained, I was in Ayvalık district for a series project. Therefore, there was a certain amount of drugs at my residence. I handed my mobile phone over to the police officers along with its password."
DALKILIÇ: I HAVE NEVER USED DRUGS AT ANY TIME IN MY LIFE
Dalkılıç's statement is as follows: "I have never used drugs at any time in my life. I cannot have a drug relationship, nor have I used drugs abroad. Sezer Çakır and Sergen Yalçın are my close friends. It is out of the question for me to use drugs with these people. Sezer Çakır and Sergen Yalçın are not people who would use drugs. It is true that I bought shares in the stock market once, but I did not make any transactions based on their advice. The amount of shares I bought is around 100 thousand lira."
TANGÖZE: I GENERALLY SMOKE ON THE BALCONY AT NIGHT
Duman's lead singer Kaan Tangöze also stated, "I am a married person with 3 children and have a busy schedule. Therefore, my frequency of drug use is low. The drugs at my home may even be stale. I generally smoke drugs on the balcony at home at night. I have never taken drugs at any concert I have performed, either domestically or abroad, and I am also curious about why I am being processed. We went to Germany for a concert tour a month ago. During this time, I bought marijuana from a place I do not remember, knowing that it is legally sold in Germany, and I smoked it."
KILIÇCI: I HAD USED MARIJUANA ONCE
Adem Kılıçcı stated in his testimony to the prosecutor, "I understood the accusation against me. There was a search at my residence while I was in Trabzon. No drugs were seized. My brother passed away a week ago due to cancer. I had used marijuana once due to the sadness he caused me. Blood, hair, and urine samples were taken from me. The results will come out in forensic medicine. I regret it. The reason I did not give my phone password to the police is to prevent my personal information from being spread. I request my release. These are all I have to say."
