According to the allegation, a 7th-grade student, B.Ş. (12), was subjected to violence by his social studies teacher, E.B. It was reported that when the teacher entered the class and said, "I will throw out the boys who talk," B.Ş. responded, "What will happen if the girls talk, teacher?" This angered E.B., who allegedly called the student to the board and hit him on the head, arm, and ribs, then threw him to the desk.
TEACHER RELEASED
B.Ş. went home and told his family about what happened. After obtaining a medical report for the assault, the family went to the police station and filed a complaint against teacher E.B. The teacher, who was charged with "intentional injury," was released after giving his statement.
12-year-old B.Ş. stated, "Our social studies teacher, E.B., said after entering the class, 'I will throw out the boys who talk.' I replied to our teacher, 'What will happen if the girls talk, teacher?' When I said this, he said, 'Come here' and called me to the board. When I got to the board, he made a fist with his hand and hit me on the head twice."
